Cookie Policy

Version 1 · in force from 5 October 2026

In short. We only use cookies and similar technologies that our websites need to work and stay secure. We don’t use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and our website’s fonts are served from our own website, not from Google.

When you first visit, we ask you to Accept or Reject. Today both choices give you the same website, because there is nothing optional to switch on. If we ever add anything optional, it will only run if you have accepted.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s session storage, work in a similar way. The law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations) says we need your consent for them, unless they are strictly necessary to provide something you have asked for, such as signing in or keeping your basket.

2. The cookies we use

This covers phoenixhosting.co, our client area (portal.phoenixhosting.co), our onboarding forms (onboarding.phoenixhosting.co) and our management portal (manage.phoenixhosting.co). All of them are strictly necessary.

3. Google reCAPTCHA

We treat Google reCAPTCHA as strictly necessary. It protects your account, our checkout and our support forms from automated attacks, fake sign-ups and card testing, and those forms can’t be offered safely without it. For that reason it is not switched off when you choose Reject.

It loads only on the client area pages listed above, not on phoenixhosting.co itself. When it loads, Google receives your IP address and information about your browser and device, and may set or read its own cookies. The reCAPTCHA box may also load Google’s fonts for its own display. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply. Google is listed in our providers.

4. What we don’t use

5. Websites we build for customers

Websites we build for our customers set no cookies of their own, other than one that remembers the visitor’s Accept or Reject choice. Each of those websites has its own privacy notice, and the business that owns it is responsible for it.

6. Changing your choice

Use the Cookie settings link at the bottom of any page on phoenixhosting.co or our client area, or the button below. Your choice is saved for 6 months, then we ask again. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings at any time; strictly necessary cookies are then set again when you use the website.

Your current choice: not made yet
